After causing one scandal too many, 20-year-old medical student Dylan is shipped off to the countryside to learn some discipline from distant relatives. Instead, thanks to a mix-up, he ends up in a secluded religious commune that mistakes him for a doctor they’ve been expecting. Forced to play along, Dylan must survive a world of strict rules, constant supervision, and a community that distrusts everything from the outside world. Things get even more complicated when he meets Sarah — the curious daughter of the commune’s leader. Dreaming of becoming a doctor herself, Sarah treats Dylan as her personal source of medical knowledge, dragging him into one awkward “research project” after another. While Sarah sees science, Dylan sees something very different. And with her suspicious father watching his every move, keeping his cover may be harder than he ever imagined.
